GreenLight Biosciences is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of data visualization solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with downstream data visualization tools to enable insights and decisions across the organization. The role will focus on visualizing data across R&D, Finance, and Manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate within a highly cross-functional biotechnology data solutions team to deliver decision-enabling dashboards for R&D, Finance, and Manufacturing.
  2. Engage with stakeholders to understand and implement effective data visualization solutions using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.
  3. Extract and source data from custom systems from third parties like TOTVS and from data warehouses.
  4. Follow Agile methodology to deliver reports and dashboards.
  5. Prepare documentation and conduct functionality tests.
  6. Communicate results, solutions, and vision clearly to stakeholders and managers.

Required qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, or equivalent.
  2. Over 2 years of experience working with diverse datasets in a scientific solutions, research, or public organization.
  3. At least 5 years of experience developing dashboards with PowerBI or similar tools like Tableau.
  4. Familiarity with database design and querying languages such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  5. Experience with ERP systems like TOTVS, D365 F&O, Salesforce, etc.
  6. Solution-oriented mindset and agility.
  7. Strong ownership and ability to see projects through to completion.
  8. Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  9. Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Science, Biotechnology, or similar.
  2. Hands-on experience with data aggregation, cleaning, normalization, and visualization within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  3. Knowledge of financial, manufacturing, and lab processes.
  4. Proficiency in Excel, including functions and VBA macros.
  5. Ability to collaborate with both data and non-data personnel to implement user requirements.
  6. Experience in software documentation and testing.
