Technical Architect Position Specialty Capital is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to shape the technological foundation of its rapidly growing small business lending platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in mobile application development, financial services technology, and cloud architecture. They will design and implement cutting-edge financial technology solutions, working with a dynamic team focused on revolutionizing business financing. Key Responsibilities: Design and evolve the comprehensive technical architecture for the lending platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across all technology initiatives. Lead technology selection and evaluation processes for new tools, frameworks, and platforms. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. Technical Leadership: The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical expertise in React, Swift, Java/Kotlin development. They will review code, architectures, and technical designs to ensure quality and standards. Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making across teams. Establish development standards, coding practices, and documentation requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 10-15 years of progressive experience in software architecture and development. Extensive experience in mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms. Strong expertise in Swift for iOS and Java/Kotlin for Android development.
