- Manage indemnity claims by investigating, evaluating, and determining compensability for work-related injury and disease claims
- Develop action plans to manage medical and indemnity benefits for claims
- Gather facts by conducting interviews and issuing claim decisions based on sound judgment
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and medical professionals, to facilitate claims management
- Analyze reports and negotiate claim settlements to achieve optimal outcomes
- Minimum of three years of experience in workers' compensation insurance
- Ability to manage claims through the litigation process
- One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using claims management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience with multiple state claims management
- Knowledge of workers' compensation claims practices and laws
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop effective relationships
