Head of Engineering & Projects (Sr. Manager)
**Scope**: Global (Latin America, North America, Europe, Asia)
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the definition of engineering standards and the governance of industrial projects across all COFCO International assets. You'll ensure our projects are executed with technical excellence, risk control, cost efficiency, and aligned with global safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.
Your impact will span across our global footprint, including:
Oilseed crushing plants (soybean, sunflower)
Grain and sugar export terminals
Grain storage facilities and silos
Biodiesel, Ethanol plants, sugar mills, and refineries
Assets located across Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Ukraine, Romania, South Africa, India, and other key agri-export markets
**Key responsibilities include**:
Defining and maintaining global engineering and project execution standards
Leading the governance process for all industrial CAPEX (base and non-base)
Providing technical leadership throughout FEL stages and project reviews (PIR)
Supporting site teams with project scope definition, risk assessments, and contractor oversight
Driving innovation in industrial design, digitalization, and sustainability
Promoting integration with global safety, maintenance, quality, and efficiency teams
**Who we're looking for**:
Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial)
Large experience in managing large-scale industrial projects
Strong knowledge of FEL methodology, EPC/EPCM models, and industrial standards
Fluent in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus
Experience in multicultural and matrixed organizations
Willingness to travel globally
**Location**: Santos/SP or São Jose do Rio Preto/SP
