International Opportunity Position is based in Angola

You will be joining a well-established market leader, a large group with a diversified business portfolio, reporting to the Snr Demand Planning Manager. The role involves overseeing inventory and distribution operations to ensure optimal stock levels, efficient distribution, and alignment with sales forecasts to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
  • Maintain a robust stock policy for finished goods balancing demand, service levels, and working capital.
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of finished goods to Distribution Centers and retail outlets.
  • Manage logistics processes for proprietary and third-party products.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory with demand forecasts.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for inventory turnover, order fulfillment, and distribution efficiency.
  • Design and maintain infrastructure and systems for warehousing and transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in storage and distribution.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in supply chain performance.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for senior management on inventory and distribution metrics.
  • Leverage ERP systems for efficient inventory, distribution, and demand planning management.

Key Requirements:

  • Willing to relocate to Angola
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory and distribution management, preferably in FMCG
  • Proven experience managing complex supply chains
  • Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement
  • FMCG experience is a plus
  • Ability to influence decision makers
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • High standards of accuracy and precision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated and self-driven
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity
