Senior Inventory Distribution Specialist

The Supply Chain Optimization Professional oversees inventory and distribution operations to guarantee efficient stock levels, timely delivery, and alignment with sales forecasts.
This position entails strategic planning and management of logistics processes for proprietary and third-party products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
Main Responsibilities:- Inventory Strategy Development: Create and implement effective inventory strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
- Stock Policy Management: Maintain a robust stock policy balancing demand, service levels, and working capital.
- Distribution Management: Ensure timely and accurate distribution of finished goods to distribution centers and retail outlets.
- Logistics Process Management: Manage logistics processes for proprietary and third-party products.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory with demand forecasts.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor KPIs for inventory turnover, order fulfillment, and distribution efficiency.
- Infrastructure and Systems Design: Design and maintain infrastructure and systems for warehousing and transportation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in storage and distribution.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in supply chain performance.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory and distribution management, preferably in FMCG.
- Proven experience managing complex supply chains.
- Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
