Responsibilities
  • Guides technical related sales support processes and activities in order to effectively support assigned sales teams and customer organizations with technical information and services needed to integrate products into customers' technical infrastructure or their products.
  • Guides the installation activities and / or service operations of a field unit.
  • Directs negotiations of service agreements on installation, integration and maintenance as part of the sales process and is responsible for the according execution.
  • Plans budgets and allocates respective resources.
  • Manages projects within the business.
  • Ensures technically proper and customer oriented fulfillment of agreements and orders.
  • Ensures profitability of contracts.
  • Directs operational activities, exercises tight cost control and maximizes labor utilization.
  • Advises on strategic and tactical operations planning.
  • Ensures the availability of material to complete jobs on time while controlling carrying costs of inventory.
  • Manages job cost re-estimates.
  • Manages assigned organizational unit(s) and leads and / or coordinates dedicated management and staff.
