Shopify Technical Account Manager (Remote) LMG Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client, a digital agency providing web design, development, and CRO services to ecommerce brands on the Shopify platform. This part-time (approx. 20 hours/week) role will transition to full-time within 2-4 months if a good fit is found. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Shopify-based clients, maintain strong proactive relationships through regular communication, provide project updates, clarify timelines, and identify upsell opportunities. Technical Implementation (Shopify): Make backend updates in Shopify, such as adjusting shipping settings, installing and configuring apps, modifying navigation menus, setting up discounts or promotional banners, and updating product/content pages. Troubleshoot issues directly on the website or with related tools. Project & Task Management: Translate client requests into actionable tasks, delegate work to internal specialists, track progress in the project management system, and ensure timely delivery and clear communication of status updates. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Conduct quarterly website assessments using a predefined checklist, identify improvement areas across UX, functionality, and conversion performance, and recommend priority changes or initiatives. Internal Collaboration & Communication: Use Slack, Loom, and Zoom to collaborate with internal teams, participate in weekly operations meetings and ad‑hoc client calls, maintain documentation of updates and decisions, and support asynchronous communication. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in digital project management, account management, or technical client services. Strong communicator comfortable with client-facing and cross‑functional collaboration. Experience supporting clients on technical matters, including site configurations, app installations, UX/UI feedback, and general troubleshooting. Prior experience with website platforms; Shopify experience highly preferred. Familiarity with ecommerce, UX/UI principles, analytics, and CRO concepts. Highly organized, punctual, and process‑oriented. Proficiency with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Teamwork. Availability during standard business hours in the EST time zone (9 AM–5 PM EST). Bonus Experience (Preferred) Shopify site configuration or development. Background in web design or front‑end development. Experience with ecommerce A/B testing.
