At CloudWalk, compliance is about enabling innovation. Our Compliance Team plays a vital role in empowering our teams to develop and launch disruptive products while ensuring seamless user experiences aligned with regulatory frameworks.

We seek a hands-on, tech-savvy compliance professional passionate about emerging technologies and innovative financial solutions. In this role, you will work closely with our product development teams to anticipate regulatory challenges, drive compliance strategies, and support the evolution of cutting-edge financial products.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Handle regulatory matters related to SCFI (Credit, Financing, and Investment Company) , ensuring compliance with Central Bank regulations applicable to financial institutions.
  • Participate in the regulatory transition to a Type 3 Conglomerate , helping define and implement strategies for restructuring and operational alignment.
  • Support the execution and monitoring of the Regulatory Compliance Adjustment Plan , ensuring obligations and deadlines are met.
  • Assist in implementing internal controls, governance, and reporting routines , including capital requirements, risk management, and COSIF standards.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, and Product teams to adapt policies and processes to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and interpret updates from the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) and other supervisory bodies, providing strategic guidance.
  • Identify compliance gaps and support development of corrective action plans .
  • Promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement , contributing to training and internal development regarding SCFI obligations.
What You Need To Succeed:
  • A university degree in a related field.
  • Relevant experience in the Payment Institution market, SCFI , and Type 3 conglomerates .
  • Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English .
  • Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with emerging technologies.
  • Experience applying Artificial Intelligence in Compliance processes .
  • Familiarity with COSIF regulations for Type 3 conglomerates .
  • Experience with authorization processes for financial institutions is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the regulatory framework for SCFIs .
