Job Description We are seeking a Senior System Analyst for American Tower’s IT department. The IT team delivers quality software solutions that provide measurable business value. Day‑to‑day you will work in a global, cross‑functional environment, designing, implementing, and modifying custom or packaged applications and reporting tools. Using various project management frameworks, you will identify ways to streamline processes to improve quality and effectiveness, leveraging IT‑related best practices to deliver business solutions. As a Senior System Analyst you must be resilient and flexible in response to a rapidly growing organization with changing business needs. Responsibilities Provide forward‑thinking vision to collaboratively design cross‑functional processes and solutions to global business challenges. Present flexible, scalable, and supportable options to stakeholders and help them vet alternatives that support project and business objectives. Proactively identify ways by which IT can add value to business teams, providing thought leadership and improving processes and communicating them to key stakeholders. Collaborate with, and facilitate communication between, IT and business partners to drive change. Demonstrate how new technologies, best practices and trends can be incorporated into business and IT processes, leveraging a strong understanding of end‑to‑end processes. Proactively estimate, plan, manage, communicate, and execute essential duties with a focus on the uniqueness of each project. Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with business partners, project teams and other stakeholders. Create or oversee the creation of clear and concise documentation throughout all project phases and activities. Lead elicitation, analysis and documentation of complex requirements and business needs, utilizing techniques such as process mapping; identify and resolve conflicting requirements and trace requirements through to solution; manage requirements to the smallest set that will provide the biggest impact in advancing business objectives. Design solutions for end‑user adoption and productivity improvement, with usability in mind. Independently execute on complex configuration, reporting and other technical activities. Partner with the Quality Assurance team to share project information and validate test scripts; also perform and coordinate system testing and write and execute testing plans. Serve as a mentor and peer reviewer to other team members. Design and deliver high‑quality training to end users. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or related experience required. Minimum 6 years of professional experience in business analysis, application design, implementation, and support, or as a super user or auditor preferred. Certified Business Analysis Professional or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis certification preferred. Experience in tower industry, operations, leasing, or real estate preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively. Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed‑upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast‑paced environment. Approximately 15% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities. Oracle Financial Applications Extensive knowledge of Oracle Financials modules, specifically GL, FA, AP, CE, PO, PA, AR, eBTax, and PN. Familiarity with Oracle EBS database tables and related tools such as SQL Developer. Experience integrating Oracle EBS with external applications, including cloud solutions. Experience in a finance and accounting environment, with working knowledge of GAAP accounting. Experience working with Oracle Business Intelligence or a similar reporting system preferred.
