Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Yisrael Technology is looking for a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join a remote project supporting one of our U.S.-based clients. You'll be tasked with safeguarding infrastructure, conducting threat modeling, and implementing best practices in cloud security across enterprise-level systems.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity strategies for web applications and infrastructure
- Perform regular security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability analysis
- Respond to security incidents and lead root cause investigations
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure cloud environments (AWS / Azure) follow secure architecture principles
- Implement identity and access management, SIEM tools, and network monitoring systems
- Stay current with security trends, threat intelligence, and compliance standards
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Experience with threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning tools
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC2
- Strong communication and incident management skills
- English fluency (C1 / C2 level)
