Claims Investigator

The Claims Examiner plays a crucial role in managing claims efficiently, ensuring timely resolution, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate complex claims of any size or complexity, against insurance or other companies for personal, casualty, or property loss or damages.
• Determine the extent of company liability by examining claim forms, records, and inspecting property damage.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, while recommending litigation when necessary.
• Collaborate with police and hospital records to gather information and estimate repair or replacement costs.
• Prepare detailed reports of findings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Must be Bilingual - Portuguese and English, Spanish would be considered a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, and PC literacy skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
