Our Claims Resolution Specialist will investigate complex claims against insurance companies, aiming to resolve disputes through out-of-court settlements.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle local losses up to designated authority and assist on larger losses, including accounting-based losses.
- Examine claim forms and records to determine insurance coverage.
- Interview claimants and witnesses, consult police and hospital records, and inspect property damage to assess company liability.
- Estimate repair, replacement, or compensation costs and prepare reports of findings.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and recommend litigation if necessary.
- Revisit case reserves to cover probable costs and prepare loss experience reports.
This role requires a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Additional responsibilities include supporting quality programs, traveling as required, and performing other duties assigned by management.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, at least five years of related experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and English languages.
