We're looking for a talented and passionate Art Director to join Wildlife's New Games team working in a hybrid model from Sao Paulo. Our Art Directors are creative leaders who create and maintain the artistic vision of our products at Wildlife Studios. The Art Director will be an inspirational leader the torch-bearer for our art department who empowers our team to envision visually stunning mobile games for the global community. We know that the work we do has a high impact on our company's success and culture. The right person for this position is curious by nature and comfortable in a take the initiative environment loves solving problems and can thrive in a fast and growing business. What you'll do Establish artistic vision: You will build new IPs that resonate well with a specific game audience conducting marketing research and IP explorations. Artistic Constraints: You will carry the visual integrity throughout the entire project ensuring consistency and highest quality within the boundaries of mobile hardware. Collaboration: You will work closely with Product and Technical leadership to build high quality products that will resonate with the global gaming community. Team Management: You will manage a small team of artists helping them grow. What you'll need Leadership experience for creative teams to deliver a high-quality product. Hands on experience in one or more art subject areas such as concept, 3d modeling, real-time VFX, animation, illustration, etc. A resume and an online portfolio showcasing your ability to create and carry a vision for a creative product. Strong understanding of game art development; Unity knowledge is a plus. Passion for Mobile games and a good understanding of the mobile gaming market. Great oral and written communication skills in English. More about you Creative Leadership: You have years of experience working in a lead, supervisor, art manager or art director capacity in a game/film production environment. Artistic Guidance: You have experience defining and aligning a multidisciplinary team behind a creative product vision by providing feedback, guidance, and asset critiques. Organization: You have experience helping create and lead schedules that ensure accurate workflow throughout the art department. Resourcefulness: You have an ability to run a group of artists in a dynamically changing game production environment. Visual Range: You have an ability to work within a wide range of artistic styles and themes to compliment various genres of games.
