The Business

FINEX is a division of WTW that acts as a knowledge base for WTW worldwide. Our teams of experts have extensive experience in Financial Line areas and provide specialist advice and services to our clients and associates.

The Role

The role is responsible for providing coordinated service and placement activities that meet the client's insurance and risk management needs. Responsible for ensuring relevant regulatory and technical standards are met. Leverages advanced skill set with Financial Line knowledge to design and consult with clients on insurance coverage and services; uses understanding of clients' needs to expand business opportunities and further solidify client relationships. Ability to focus on delivering exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Essential duties include but are not limited to:

  • Focus on Financial Line Business Growth Initiatives and Prospects in IPO clients.
  • Regular reviews on prospects and new business targets with updated data in CRM.
  • Coordinate and assume ultimate responsibility for the comprehensive delivery of Willis Towers Watson's service to the client and ensuring the integrity of said provision at all times.
  • Conceptualize insurance offers and draft technical studies based on the client's needs.
  • Manage and negotiate insurance placements and renewals with carriers.
  • Develop accounts via saturation and cross-selling opportunities within the broking teams.
  • Develop account strategies, presentations, and other forms of communication with clients.
  • Proactively monitor and chase up age of account receivables in a timely and traceable manner to minimize bad debit risks.
  • Control expenses and be mindful of budget.
  • Ensure the accuracy of business forecasts with monthly actual revenue being consistent with data from internal systems.
  • Follow the end-to-end insurance broker process to adequately meet internal policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that client engagement, contract formation, and service delivery processes are fully compliant with group policies across all territorial, legal, and regulatory domains.
  • Assist the team to maintain existing customers and develop new customers with the ultimate purpose of profitability of the company.
  • Work with other sectors to share knowledge, skills, experiences, and resources for constant improvement of overall company performance.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by line manager.
Qualifications

The Requirements

  • College degree or above, preferably majoring in Insurance, Law, Finance, International Trade, Economics, or Risk Management.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about being a successful business hunter.
  • Proven years of relevant insurance working experience. A strong background with US/HK listing/IPO work experience is a PLUS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Detail-oriented with experience using data.
  • The ability to work independently with reliable performance.
  • A robust team player with mature customer service skills.
  • A quick learner to understand client needs and market trends.
