Power Consulting Unit Manager

Responsible for the development of advisory projects for major electricity sector agents, including distribution, transmission, retailer, and generators, helping them address regulatory, economic, and electricity challenges.

How you'll make an impact:

  1. Identify opportunities for new and repeat consulting business and build networks for information exchange.
  2. Create value for customers and the organization by ensuring successful transactions, contracts, and proposals using sales techniques and negotiation tactics.
  3. Propose research & development projects, define scope and budget, support project management strategies including productization and modularization, and follow up on new products/solutions with ongoing contract management support.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities, ensuring delivery as per contracts.
  5. Lead the creation of new processes and tools, coaching and developing colleagues.
  6. Manage experienced professionals exercising independence in their assignments.
  7. Implement policies and strategies for short-term results (within 1 year).
  8. Address moderately complex problems.
  9. Influence others outside of own job area regarding policies and procedures.
  10. Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Driven, dedicated, and service-minded with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, open to global collaboration.
  • University degree; Master or MBA preferred in a relevant technical area, with competence in Engineering & Consulting.
  • Relevant industry technical certifications are desirable.
  • Significant experience in the Energy/Utility sector.
