Core PurposeThe Admissions and Selections Academic ensures that the main objectives of the Admissions and Selections Department are met by selecting students based on regulation and the admission and selection criteria for the purposes of admission of prospective students, both nationally and internationally, and to advance the strategic objectives of MANCOSA Core Functions Will be responsible for: Receiving, resolving and providing responses to queries from all regions, including Honoris Education Network and SADC regions Ensuring that assigned applications are reviewed as per the Admissions and Selections Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Checklist and Policy Ensuring that Management Information System (MANMIS) applications are reviewed as per the Admissions and Selections SOP, Checklist and Policy Reviewing applications for candidates who are eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy, alternate programmes and the awarding of credits Ensuring RPL statistics do not go above 10% per programme per cohort Planning and facilitating all training sessions related to admissions criteria for various programmes Updating departmental templates and documents Facilitating quality assurance check on applications and procedures Fulfilling any other reasonable request from Management Qualification(s) A Master’s degree (or studying towards a Master’s degree) Experience Minimum 2 years of work experience as an academic either as a lecturer or teacher #J-18808-Ljbffr
