Core PurposeThe Admissions and Selections Academic ensures that the main objectives of the Admissions and Selections Department are met by selecting students based on regulation and the admission and selection criteria for the purposes of admission of prospective students, both nationally and internationally, and to advance the strategic objectives of MANCOSACore FunctionsWill be responsible for:Receiving, resolving and providing responses to queries from all regions, including Honoris Education Network and SADC regionsEnsuring that assigned applications are reviewed as per the Admissions and Selections Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Checklist and PolicyEnsuring that Management Information System (MANMIS) applications are reviewed as per the Admissions and Selections SOP, Checklist and PolicyReviewing applications for candidates who are eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy, alternate programmes and the awarding of creditsEnsuring RPL statistics do not go above 10% per programme per cohortPlanning and facilitating all training sessions related to admissions criteria for various programmesUpdating departmental templates and documentsFacilitating quality assurance check on applications and proceduresFulfilling any other reasonable request from ManagementQualification(s)A Master's degree (or studying towards a Master's degree)ExperienceMinimum 2 years of work experience as an academic either as a lecturer or teacher#J-*****-Ljbffr
