Join to apply for the Information Technology Manager role at LEDN The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar roles in rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, while also helping end users who are in need of help. You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will have a passion for innovation and creative problem solving, and be adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment. You will need to be highly motivated, dependable and an experienced technologist who shares our passion and wants to be part of a fast-moving, highly execution-oriented team. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. This role will report to the Director of IT. What You Will Do You will be customer-facing, and the first line of support; you own support, and you are passionate about providing an outstanding support experience to our employees via Slack, Jira, etc. We're all Mac. You are a pro at troubleshooting, using the terminal, and making macOS work in the enterprise. You will be responsible for procuring and delivering technology equipment. You will own the experience of tech onboarding of all new employees as well as tech retrieval of all outgoing employees. You will design, test, build, and document programs, policies and tools, and contribute improvements to existing knowledge with your experience and background. You will support and manage SaaS applications — Google Workspace (GSuite), Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc. You will work with and manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools — MDM, EMM, Jamf, etc. You will own and contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). You will detail your solutions, craft help articles and automate busywork. Manage, respond to, and fix critical incidents and issues as needed, through to completion. You're comfortable juggling help desk tickets and can effectively prioritise them. You'll work on projects over sprints, and detail your work in tools like Jira (agile methods and sprints). You'll set and work to your own objectives and key results with minimal direction, aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring To Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc. Ability to utilize open-source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta, create workflows in Okta. Knowledge of APIs and integrating systems. Experience providing remote support across multiple countries/time zones and shipping/receiving hardware and customs. Exceptional communication skills across media; clear, friendly, concise writing and ability to work with diverse cultures. A desire to provide a magical experience for others and a security-conscious mindset (PGP familiarity). Understanding of networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting — TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching. Ability to methodically troubleshoot using OSI model layers and to scope and manage projects across multiple teams. Strong organizational and task-management skills; comfortable dealing with ambiguity. Nice To Haves Some familiarity with AWS. Experience with GAM and command-line interfaces to increase efficiency.
