This person will support the daily operations of their People team and play a key role across the entire employee lifecycle—from scheduling interviews and onboarding new hires to managing freelancer coordination and timesheet tracking.The ideal candidate thrives on organization, is proactive in solving problems, and is curious about how new tools (including AI) can enhance HR operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make an immediate impact while continuing to grow their career in People Operations.Key ResponsibilitiesInterview & Meeting CoordinationSchedule interviews and internal meetings for candidates and team membersManage shared calendars and ensure all logistics are in placeCollaborate with executive assistants and team leads to support coordination needsOnboardingPrepare and send offer letters for new hiresSet up systems access, calendar invites, and onboarding documentsSchedule orientation sessions and introductory meetingsMaintain onboarding trackers and ensure all steps are completed smoothlyOffboardingSupport documentation and communications for employee offboardingUpdate internal systems, deactivate accounts, and schedule exit interviewsEnsure accurate tracking of departures and offboarding tasksFreelancer & Contractor SupportAssist with contract creation, routing for signature, and documentationCoordinate onboarding, access setup, and scheduling for freelance workersTrack timelines, documentation, and status in shared toolsTimesheet & Reporting SupportMonitor timesheet submissions and follow up on missing or unsubmitted timePrepare and distribute utilization and resource management reportsMaintain accuracy in internal dashboards and tracking toolsGeneral People Operations SupportKeep digital records organized and up to dateHelp improve and streamline People Ops workflows and documentationServe as a go-to contact for HR-related processes and questions.RequirementsSlack - internal communications and notificationsZoom - interviews, onboarding, and virtual meetingsGoogle Workspace - Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and DriveAI Curious - open to learning and applying new AI tools in HR workBenefitsRemote (EST hours)Salary- $3,000 USD/month15 days PTO + HolidaysSeniority levelSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionOtherIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Sur LATAM by 2xWe're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
