This role will support Uber’s Mobility business in the LATAM region.**What You'll Do**:- Partner with senior business leaders in assigned business line(s) in a consultative role to navigate current and future business needs, while influencing and driving the HRBP and P&P agenda in alignment with Uber’s overall priorities.- Develop a deep understanding of assigned business line(s), and build relationships and rapport with business leaders in order to strategically influence and provide expert-level consultation daily.- Partner with senior leaders to craft and understand strategies for their leadership team, their employees, and broader organization of assigned business lines, in alignment with the P&P organization and Uber overall. Complete these strategies to respond to the current and future needs of the business while keeping a global perspective.- Understand and influence how Uber’s HR processes work end-to-end and what the strategy, approach and philosophy is behind how these programs impact the business. Utilize this deep understanding to influence outcomes and behaviors within the business.- Constantly think about how to improve the efficiency of the organization - looking at teams, governance, external factors - then structuring and implementing initiatives to address opportunities.- Draw upon deep collaboration and influencing skills to shape Uber’s business and global P&P agenda to deliver on Uber’s goals. Influence across matrixed business and P&P organizations to drive appropriate outcomes without directly controlling resources.- Be a steward of our cultural values, as well as continually championing diversity, equity and inclusion.**Basic Qualifications**:- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experiences working as a HR Business Partner**Preferred Qualifications**:- Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and flexibility to be proactive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment- Competence in making timely, effective, and principles-based decisions using excellent judgment to weigh inputs from multiple stakeholders and optimally leading tradeoffs, then aligning stakeholders to those decisions- Deep business insight to understand, anticipate, and tackle business needs- A track record of providing HR consultation to senior leadership on critical initiatives- Proven understanding of global HR programs including compensation, performance management, organizational structure and leadership development- Strong analytical capabilities or prior experience working in analytical functions like compensation or people analytics- Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on HR matters- Proven track record to partner within and outside of HR- Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence- High EQ, personal maturity, cultural awareness and compassion- Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills- Knowledge and experience in technology businesses and familiarity with their global HR practices and policiesUber is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
