Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus in economics, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience with analytic methodologies (e.g., regression, classification, prediction, etc.).
- Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field like engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or business science.
- Experience building credit models.
- Experience with statistical or econometric modeling.
- Experience creating and maintaining reports/dashboards/data visualizations (e.g., Tableau, etc.).
- Experience with analytic methodologies (e.g., regression, classification, prediction, etc.).
- Experience working with SQL, Machine Learning, and analytical experience working with large volumes of complex data.

In this role, you will join a team that powers Google's growth agenda by creating innovative ways to manage our complex set of billing and payment transactions, making processes more efficient and scalable, minimizing operational risk, integrating Google acquisitions and products, connecting with payment and invoicing partners, and more.
You will build tools to automate processes and generate insights that will allow the Credit team to accomplish its mission to be the guardians of Google's Credit Risk and Customer information and accelerate sustainable growth by enabling spend, monitoring customers, and providing insights to our businesses. You will find innovative ways to manage our complex data making them useful. You will work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations and you will proactively minimize operational risk. You will be a trusted partner, delivering insights and strategic recommendations.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide management with clear insights and recommendations into drivers of credit risk, market trends, and opportunities that will keep losses within acceptable risk tolerances.
- Perform analysis of complex issues, and provide recommendations to team members. Interact with internal users to establish and clarify requirements in order to develop analytics needs.
- Develop and improve predictions in order to drive operational insights and process improvements.
- Design, document, and implement reporting dashboards to manage operational performance.
- Develop and enhance credit models and scorecards to predict the credit risk of Google's customers.
