Job Opportunity: Credit Analyst - Corporate Finance

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our corporate finance team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As the lead analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit analysis of financial statements and economic data, as well as analyzing bond indentures and legal documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive credit analysis on a dedicated portfolio of companies and transactions across various sectors, including Retail, Services, Education, Healthcare, and Agriculture.
  • Monitor the portfolio and make recommendations for rating transitions in a timely manner.
  • Present credits effectively and comprehensively in rating committees and other internal analytical meetings.
  • Demonstrate rating judgment by distinguishing among different entities and transactions at different rating levels.
  • Produce high-quality research on specific issuers, general credit trends, or sector-related issues.
  • Participate in issuer meetings and present key rating factors effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in economics, accounting, engineering, business administration, statistics, actuarial science, or similar.
  • Three to five years of relevant professional experience with financial analysis primarily focused on corporate finance entities.
  • Proven analytical and modeling skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Python programming and Visual Basic for Applications knowledge is an asset.
