Materials Procurement Planner

**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and implement a raw material supply plan which provides an uninterrupted flow of materials to the manufacturing operation while optimizing the total system cost. Follow up monthly delivery volumes vs plan and escalate deviances;
Responsible for analyzing and optimizing all planning parameters such as safety stock, minimum order quantities, economic order quantities, and order frequencies for internal and external raw materials;
Proactively work as a focal point driving and leading the integration between different roles involved with the aim of achieving reliable raw material supply (purchasing, quality, logistics, suppliers, warehouse, and procurement);
Analyze MRP results and place purchase orders to ensure a continuous supply of raw materials and oversee order processing activities, address and resolve issues to prevent stock ruptures;
Provide root cause analysis on items that caused service issues due to shortages.
Liaise closely with production planning team regarding supply issues; work with production planning team to resolve potential shortages and optimize service level.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent related experience
Fluent in English and Spanish intermediate;
Previous experience in the Planning area (Procurement Planning or/and Production Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP), or related supply chain experience with Detailed understanding of Materials Procurement Planning concepts;
APICS Certified preferred;
Knowledge of Excel and analytical skills;
Verbal and written communication skills.
