We're looking for an outstanding Segment Marketing Manager to join our Brazil and Southern Latin America (SOLA) team You will drive our Marketing and Communication strategy in those regions, as well as planning and budgeting, execution and measurement. **Position Overview**:
As a Sr. Segment Marketing Manager you will lead the area’s in-country marketing resources while reporting into the Americas Marketing organization based in the United States and will also have strong dotted line reporting into the regional Country Directors. Responsible for planning, development and execution of all enterprise-focused marketing programs to increase the efficiency of field sales in growing their business. Lead generation and awareness programs targeting prospects and customers in the region. Build and implement the marketing plan, program management, analysis, tracking and reporting for field marketing initiatives across the region.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
Work closely with the Citrix Regional sales management team to define regional marketing goals and objectives in order to build regional marketing plan that aligns with sales goals and maps the regional budget.
Incorporate market research as part of regional program strategy and planning.
Cooperate with vendors & develop and lead digital and ABM strategy for region.
Align regional channel & end-user quarterly program strategy to ensure that regional messaging is consistent.
Responsible for: supporting local PR (Public Relations) initiatives; support the development of local press releases, customer references, and case studies with the Communications team; maintenance of the regional events and programs calendar in Wrike; management and administration of purchase orders, budget, and return on investment reporting in Wrike and other systems (e.g. Ariba, Concur); lead processing, submission, and tracking for all regional programs regardless of source.
Drive regional joint Citrix/partner (Microsoft, Google, et al) marketing programs.
Run regional seminars and events to include strategy, production, implementation, execution, and measurement, working closely with the Americas Marketing Digital Team.
Management and distribution of the event property regional inventory. Demonstrate the Americas properties, signage and demos. Drive content, demos, and messaging for regional events.
Handle pre & post event activities, including measurement of program efficiency to improve value.
Identify and secure speakers/staff for events. Lead vendors for logistics, content, collateral, and promotional items. Perform onsite event coordination, when appropriate.
Be the “go-to” marketing resource for the region.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or related degree. 8+ years confirmed experience in B2B technology or equivalent.
- Ability to understand a variety of technologies and cross-partnerships within the industry and prior experience in creating coordinated marketing plans across different platforms.
- English, Spanish Portuguese professional proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively across functional departments with the ability to influence and lead peers (and often senior colleagues) in a virtual environment to produce results on time.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in all three languages with regional to Global experience and transnational sensitivity.
- Confirmed experience with multidisciplinary marketing view beyond program execution, including sales readiness, communications, lead management, and crafted pipeline.
- Can lead large projects or processes that may span outside immediate job area with limited oversight with strong project management abilities and follow-through as well as budget management skills
- Excellent understanding of quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions including the sales and marketing metrics such as, inquires, MQLs, SQLs, conversion rates, contribution to pipeline, close rates, ROI, etc.
- Hands on experience with all Microsoft Office programs (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and project management tools (such as Wrike).
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Advanced education degree.
Prior experience in a high tech company preferred.
Active travel in the Latin America area and occasionally to the USA as well as have access or be responsible for their own transportation to the office and local events.
