Hello there,We're currently looking for our part-timer Language Analyst Assistant, based in a timezone to cover for Americas (US, South America, or Canada).**What qualifications and knowledge should you have?**- Remote position, no specific location required (provided it complies with the time zone requirement above)- Part-time (max 20/hrs a week)- University degree related to linguistic studies - **preferably a degree in translation**. No specific experience in this role or in translation is essential.- Good working knowledge of English (English is the company language, used for daily communication within the team and across teams)- Being familiar with Excelling Export and Import features of Kalcium, creating and updating export and import files, would be a plus.- Willingness to learn new tools (general, related to language tasks, and also very specific for the clients).- Will be reporting to the main Language Analyst working on the account.**What would be the main tasks you'd cover?**- Support the Main Language Analyst of the account on client-specific tasks.- Take care of minor, more time-demanding tasks assigned by the Main Language Analyst of the account.- Familiarize with and regularly use the client’s terminology platform.- Support the Main Language Analyst of the account with terminology-related tasks: new term requests, editing terms, and adding metadata.- Getting familiar with Jonckers' bug management tool and creating terminology-related bugs for implementation of terminology fixes.- Help with quality assurance task - filling in the internal LQA tracker.- Possible other non-terminology tasksThe role would be a part-time contractor role on a freelance basis.Thank you
