Front Office Developer for Commodities and Equity Derivatives

The position of Front Office Developer is available in our organization. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for supporting the validation process for commodities asset class onboarding to an equity derivatives trading desk.

This role requires someone with experience in capital markets, particularly in commodities and/or equity derivatives. Your expertise should include resolving daily FO issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing. Additionally, you will address issues from the EQD Desk Traders (L3) and amend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations as needed.

Key responsibilities also include resolving request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues. You will analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables. Furthermore, you will liaise with technical teams when necessary to resolve FO-related issues and enhancements.

Other responsibilities include managing day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables, yielding curve issue resolution and validation, curve assignments, new curve creation. You will continuously follow up on new market regulations and practices globally and perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables, as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).

Requirements for this position include strong product knowledge in EQD, COM, very strong understanding of FX, IRD business, very strong understanding on P&L concept overall and its components, very strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle. You must have strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues, 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities, 4+ years experience in financial markets role, SQL proficiency, strong personality, logical and analytical skills, good verbal and written communication skills, strong organization skills.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing.
• Address issues from EQD Desk Traders (L3).
• Ammend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations.
• Resolve request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.
• Analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables.
• Liaise with technical team(s) when needed to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements.
• Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables.
• Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation.
• Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally.
• Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
• Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along.

Qualifications:

• Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM.
• Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business.
• Very Strong understanding on P&L concept overall and its components.
• Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.
