Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the validation of commodities asset class onboarding to our Equity Derivatives Trading desk.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established client team, from project initiation through implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve daily front office issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing.
  • Address daily issues stemming from the Equity Derivatives desk.
  • Work closely with traders to resolve issues and improve workflows.
  • Audit and update front office pre-trade rules, simulations, and eTradePad.
  • Resolve requests or issues related to profit and loss, market data, and booking.
  • Analyze and develop solutions to meet project deliverables.
  • Liaise with technical teams to resolve front office-related issues and enhance systems.
  • Manage day-to-day project tasks and deliverables.
  • Responsible for yield curve issue resolution, validation, and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with new market regulations and practices globally.
  • Perform testing and participate in formal release cycles.
  • Develop business requirements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong product knowledge in EQD and COM.
  • Deep understanding of FX, IRD business, and P&L concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.
  • 5+ years of experience with Murex FO functionalities.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial markets roles.
  • SQL proficiency.
  • Strong personality, logical and analytical skills.
  • Detailed-oriented, quick learner, and self-starter.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
