**Position Overview**:
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, systems, and data to develop reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and design effective solutions that enable data-driven decision-making and support business goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their roadmaps and priorities, including data and reporting needs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyse data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues within business processes or systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection, management, and reporting processes.
- Document data and reporting requirements and optimal solution designs.
- Develop conceptual data models including transactional and dimensional data models.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, translating business requirements into understandable and relevant solutions.
- Create and maintain reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Implement automation solutions to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
- Develop dashboards and visualisations to present data in a clear, intuitive, and actionable manner following proven scientific methods and best practices.
- Promote best practices in data visualisation and reporting within the organisation.
- Educate and support stakeholders in understanding and utilising the reports and BI tools effectively.**
Requirements**:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science, data science, economics, statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of iGaming industry including key operational business processes, metrics, and challenges.
- Ability to align data initiatives with business roadmaps and objectives, providing insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in reporting and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar, with emphasis on Tableau.
- Experience with SQL for querying databases, as well as familiarity with database management systems.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, with emphasis on Kimball Data Warehouse Lifecycle methodology and dimensional data modelling techniques
- Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and suggest data-driven solutions.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and methods.
- Experience with documenting business processes in BPMN notation and process optimisation methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Proficiency in presenting data findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
- Strong skills in documenting requirements, processes, and methodologies in a clear and organised manner.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment (SCRUM).
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, new tools, and evolving data requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Precision in analysing and reporting data, with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to think critically about data and its implications, questioning assumptions and exploring alternatives.
- Knowledge of Hichert International Business Communication Standard (Hichert IBCS) is a plus.
