Our team in Brazil is growing, and we are currently recruiting for a Piping Designer – Mid-Level to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in Belo Horizonte.

About the role:
  1. Act as a designer specializing in Piping discipline;
  2. Experience with mining, oil and gas, chemical, or petrochemical plant projects;
  3. Prepare technical project documentation such as piping plans, isometrics, MTO, material lists, engineering flow diagrams, supports, calculations, and reports;
  4. Ensure the developed documentation complies with the company's standards, procedures, and codes;
  5. Develop projects using 3D platforms, including AutoCAD Plant 3D and Smartplant;
  6. Have a strong knowledge of standards such as AWS D1.1, ABNT, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII DIV I, II, III, API 610, API 661, API 650, API 560, NEMA 23, etc.
About you:
  1. Completed Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  2. Ongoing or completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields;
  3. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering development in the industrial piping field;
  4. Strong interpersonal skills;
  5. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  6. Ability to work in a team and under supervision;
  7. Strong organizational skills;
  8. Proactive and dynamic attitude.
