Global Crypto Communications Specialist

The Bitso Global Crypto Communications Specialist is a member of the Corporate Affairs discipline responsible for protecting and enhancing Bitso's brand globally. This individual plays a key role in advancing initiatives that complement both crypto communities and corporate reputation agendas by amplifying the company's progress and innovation in making crypto useful.
As our Global Crypto Communications Specialist, you will lead communication strategy for Crypto B2C globally. By being responsible for handling external public relations and communications with industry editors, media, journalists, and other industry participants, you will optimize Bitso's quality and frequency of exposure. You will be in charge of overseeing communication with a risk-based approach and work closely with other Business Units within Bitso such as Marketing, Public Policy, and Partnerships, among others and develop communications narratives, plans and strategies, with a strong focus on storytelling, that promote Bitso's leadership across Crypto and Fintech sectors.

- Plan, Develop and Lead our communication strategy for the Crypto (B2C) area.
- Establish deep understanding of Bitso's strategies and priorities.
- Develop key messages that will be localized for each of Bitso's markets.
- Forge relationships with key media and industry players.
- Lead relationships with our PR agency.
- Create a communication impact-measurement strategy.
- Work with key executives to bring compelling messages to the press.
- Prepare and media train spokespeople for interviews, events and public appearances.
- Build cross-disciplinary networks to contribute detailed content and expertise as needed for effective communications.
**Who you are**:
- Strong research, writing and editing skills and the ability to translate core ideas into relevant and digestible content.
- Experience developing communications strategies for Crypto and B2C sectors.
- Adept at collaborating and working with people across the organization.
- Able to build cross-disciplinary networks of SMEs to contribute detailed content and expertise as needed for effective communications.
- Knowledgeable about broader communications trends and how different mediums are evolving.
- Ability to work at a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- English language proficiency.
