The Commercial Executive (CE) is a sales professional and negotiator who leads the design and execution of customers’ commercial strategy and negotiation. You will negotiate contracting and pricing, serve as a lead point for escalations, drive creative/deisisonal deal strategies, and continually seek out revenue growth through upselling and cross‑selling. Responsibilities Deal Making Lead internal and external sales teams through commercial construct optimization, ensuring optimal investment and customization. Optimize deal customization using price and non‑price concessions; identify business opportunities based on deal lifecycle and AI. Take relevant steps to ensure successful deal execution. Negotiation Define, negotiate complex commercial terms and lead the negotiation approach by engaging stakeholders. Ensure adherence to commercial solutions policy, regulations, company policies, and guidance for consistent deal making. Collaboration Develop trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders and partners, enabling customers to achieve Microsoft revenue targets. Seasoned Sales and Negotiation Professional Positive attitude and passion for working with customers and partners. Comfortable speaking at all organizational levels, from the CxO to procurement teams. Make best choices for the customer based on commercial strategic needs. Strategic, Long‑Term Thinker Team player; high‑performing individualists will not be successful. In‑depth understanding of Microsoft licensing programs and contracting (essential but not required at hiring). Qualifications Required / Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Marketing (or equivalent) AND 5+ years of sales and negotiation experience (or 7+ years of sales experience). Additional / Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technology‑related sales or account management experience. 9+ years of sales and negotiation experience.
