ZIM Logistics is a freight forward company handling with multi-modal cargo.
The Ground Operational Analyst is responsible for coordinating and monitoring logistics operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Major areas of responsibility
- Receiving and processing shipment requests.
- Assigning transport orders to vendors.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines.
- Maintaining proactive communication with customers regarding shipment status.
- Addressing and resolving operational issues.
- Gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensuring the accuracy of operational data in systems.
- Verifying and maintaining updated records of shipments and invoices.
- Complying with company policies and legal regulations.
- Preparing and sharing reports on operational performance and KPIs.
- Identifying trends and suggesting process improvements.
**Requirements**:
- Required Professional Knowledge - Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies in Logistics, Foreign Trade, International Relations, Administration or related fields.
- Knowledge - Experience in logistics operations, shipment coordination, and customer service.
- Languages: Excellent English (Advantage), Fluent Portuguese (mandatory)
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with logistics systems (e.g., TMS, ERP), MS Office, and data analysis tools.
