Co-founder Sales Director

The Co-founder Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and scaling a Latam sales team headquartered in Brazil, to achieve revenue targets within their assigned market. The ideal candidate has strong sales leadership experience, an excellent understanding of either the auto industry and/or apartment building real state ecosystems, and a passion for sustainable technology. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing team performance, and nurturing key client relationships.Equity only position plus c ommission on closed sales. To be an equal partner, we expect full or part time commitment to sales success and availability to drive through leads from inception to deal closure and post‑sales account support. Key responsibilities Sales strategy and planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales goals for the business-to-business (B2B) and residential (B2C) segments. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to identify new opportunities and inform business strategies. Team leadership and development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team, providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and support to ensure success. Manage the hiring and onboarding of new sales representatives. Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, share best practices, and build a collaborative, high‑performing culture. Business development and client relations: Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key customers, strategic partners (e.g., automotive manufacturers), and installation partners. Engage directly with major corporate and fleet clients to secure large‑scale charging infrastructure projects. Represent the company at regional trade shows, events, and industry meetings. Performance management: Set clear sales quotas and KPIs for the sales team and monitor performance against targets. Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to investor group. Track and manage the sales pipeline using a customer relationship management (CRM) system. Cross‑functional collaboration: Lead also on outbound marketing to develop campaigns and collateral to generate new leads. Coordinate with the technical and project management teams to create accurate and compelling proposals for complex commercial installations. Relay customer feedback and market insights to the product development teams. Qualifications and skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred. Proven experience in a sales management role, ideally within the real state, renewable energy, or automotive sectors. Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance metrics and market data. Proficiency with CRM software and other sales productivity tools. Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast‑paced, startup environment.
