Our client is a specialist provider of enterprise-grade software built specifically for the electric utility sector. Headquartered in Germany and operating internationally, their suite of products spans Asset Performance Management (APM), Protection & IED, Network Model Management, and Outage Management Systems - empowering utilities to operate with greater insight, safety, and efficiency. With many of the world's most advanced grid operators already relying on their technology, the business is now scaling its presence in Latin America. We're hiring a Sales Director, LATAM Energy Markets, to take ownership of the companys commercial success across the region.

The Opportunity: This is a senior-level, high-impact role for a commercially driven leader with deep roots in the LATAM energy sector. You will spearhead all sales efforts across key territories, particularly Brazil, Chile, and Colombia - working directly with utilities, system operators, and regulatory stakeholders to bring best-in-class solutions to mission-critical environments. You'll be responsible for shaping the regional go-to-market strategy, managing end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, and building high-value, long-term relationships with commercial and technical decision-makers.

What Youll Do
  • Drive new business across LATAM, identifying and converting opportunities within utilities, grid operators, ISOs, and energy companies
  • Lead strategic enterprise sales cycles, owning deals from initial contact through to close
  • Develop and execute regional strategy, working closely with the global sales and marketing leadership
  • Engage deeply with client stakeholders, including executive and operational teams, to foster trust and partnership
  • Represent the business at major industry conferences, roundtables, and sector events across Latin America
  • Partner cross-functionally with global product, pre-sales, and technical teams to ensure alignment and success
Your Background

Were looking for a seasoned commercial operator with a strong command of LATAMs energy markets and a deep understanding of how complex software solutions are sold in industrial environments.

  • 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience (APM, EAM, OT or similar solutions)
  • A proven track record in the LATAM utility and energy landscape, especially in Brazil, Chile, and Colombia
  • Strong relationships with grid operators, utilities, and energy stakeholders in the region
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales
  • Fluent Spanish and English required; Portuguese highly advantageous
  • Gravitas, consultative sales ability, and the resilience to work across both public and private energy institutions
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Latin America as needed
