Job Overview
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Supplier Quality Supervisor for a fixed-term position of one year.
Job DescriptionThis role is accountable for the assurance and execution of purchasing control requirements applied to third-party suppliers, service providers, direct and indirect suppliers, and transportation carriers used across the LATAM region for Transportation services and other services managed by Shared Services in LATAM.
The supplier quality supervisor works with business partners in transportation, procurement, and quality partners to effectively implement and improve the purchasing controls programs for transportation operations within LATAM.
Responsibilities- Support the multi-year cross-functional implementation plan for purchasing controls and Supplier Quality Management for Shared Services LATAM.
- Apply risk assessment tools, processes, and criteria for impact (risk) categorization of suppliers in alignment with Enterprise efforts.
- Partner with Transportation Operations and Logistics Procurement to develop and maintain a LATAM Regional Approved Suppliers List for Regional Transportation and any support functions.
- Lead the development and management of Supplier Quality Agreements.
- Directly support Regional Transportation and other functional areas within Shared Services LATAM during JJRC and Health Authority inspections.
- Execute internal audit and/or coordinate external audit resources to ensure timely execution of the regional CQSS supplier audit program.
- Develop, maintain, and report dashboard metrics of supplier performance to drive continuous improvement to supplier quality system elements and cost improvement plans.
- Undergraduate degree in pharmacy, engineering, or scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Quality Area.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Auditing experience in a lead auditor role required; experience in Supplier auditing is preferred.
- Contract review/writing skills preferred.
- Planning skills, and previous project leadership experience.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills preferred.
- Experience with issue investigation and remediation.
