Company descriptionÅF Automotive is part of the AFRY group, which is one of the most popular employers in Sweden, we have more than 17 thousand consultants around the world.We have been operating in Brazil since **** in the area of Automotive Engineering at several automakers in Brazil, and clients in Sweden and the USA.Our headquarters are located in São Bernardo do Campo/SP and the branch is in Curitiba/PR.We care about creating the future, come be part of this storyNew brand.ÅF and Pöyry come together as AFRY.We are 17,000 devoted experts, brave enough to stand up for what we believe in #Making FutureJob Description:We are currently looking for experienced and proactive professionals to support our client in California.The roles will focus onProduction Launch,Supplier Quality, andModule Leadershipactivities, playing a key part in the development and ramp-up of vehicle program.Key Responsibilities:Launch Engineering: Lead and coordinate production launch activities, ensuring readiness across suppliers and manufacturing sites.Monitor timelines, solve issues, and support ramp-up plans.Supplier Quality: Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure component quality and readiness for launch.Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain quality targets.Module/Program Leadership: Oversee assigned modules or systems, acting as the main interface between cross-functional teams.Ensure alignment with vehicle development milestones, timing, and technical requirements.Quality Integration: Possess a strong understanding of quality frameworks and processes.Ensure that quality considerations are seamlessly integrated into the supply chain, involving early engagement with supplier quality teams.Operational Excellence: Drive activities to successful conclusions.Anticipate upcoming issues and risks, providing innovative solutions.Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement operational enhancements.Communication and Reporting: Foster clear and effective communication between internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.Keep all relevant documentation up-to-date and maintain a high standard of reporting accuracy.Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent English proficiency is required.Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage, enabling seamless communication with the local team and suppliers.Qualifications:Advanced/Fluent English and SpanishAvailability for business trips and occasional on-site support in the EUADriver's license requiredMust be a Brazilian citizen
