Supplier Contract Analyst I – FIS Type of Hire Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired Bachelor's Degree Position Type Full time General Duties & Responsibilities Facilitates development of relationships with vendors/suppliers and maintains relationships for long‑term contracts while mediating performance and scorecard disputes. Reads lengthy and complex agreements and drafts and edits contract summaries containing pertinent facts. Acts as liaison between vendors and the organization. Creates and maintains a contract database that summarizes critical information used by FIS legal advisors. Researches issues and provides supporting information when necessary. Monitors progress of consumer and commercial files, advises management on status, and updates the internal tracking system. May actively participate in meetings with external vendors or internal customers. May create systems and procedures to ensure overall quality of vendor services. Orders and reviews abstract and title work. Other related duties assigned as needed. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of supply chain or procurement functions and procedures. Knowledge of vendor relations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non‑technical audiences at various levels (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors). Excellent problem‑solving, team, and time‑management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others. Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures. Proficiency to operate independently on work that is often confidential in nature. Fis Job Level Description Entry level role. Has general understanding of supply chain or contract review principles. Generally responsible for smaller relationships or oversees a smaller number of vendors for contract review with less complexity. Works under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Consults with senior peers on non‑complex projects to learn through experience.
