Our products are produced and distributed in all major LATAM countries (and globally) and exported overseas.The LATAM Strategic Sourcing External Manufacturers team is a group of passionate professionals, dedicated to drive growth and to enable a sustainable competitive advantage in the sourcing of finished goods for the Global & Regional Supply Chain Networks. Our team has developed into a global community of sourcing experts, with an end-to-end mindset, able to represent LATAM region and leverage globally. We do this by partnering with our Stakeholders, leveraging our industry expertise, as well as our market and technical knowledge to drive the performance of an agile, sustainable and compliant supply base that enables optimized total costs and provides innovative solutions to fuel superior growth. We collaborate strongly within the Supply Chain network, influencing and partnering with R&D and Marketing.
**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver on Financials (Cost Improvement, Commodity Inflation Management), Service, Reliability, Quality, Innovation, and New Product Launch requirements for finished goods
- Global & Regional Sourcing Strategies development and implementation, considering Cost Management, Portfolio Complexity Reduction, Access to Innovation/Sustainability and Supplier Relationship Management
- Supplier Relationship Management. Interface directly with supplier’s top management to assure alignment with J&J’s objectives
- Legal Contract Development and Management
- Identify business demand requirements and partner with Business Engagement Leaders to deliver annual value improvements and to drive competitive advantage in the portfolio, understanding operational and technical considerations related to third party products for respective categories.
- Cost Improvement Project Pipeline Creation, Management and Execution
- Compliance to J&J requirements in terms of Quality, Regulatory and Financials
**Qualificações**:
- Professional degree: Economics/Business/Science/ Engineering
- Graduate Program: MBA or equivalent Masters Degree is desirable
- Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management, Category Management and Supplier Management).
- Strong project and change management capabilities-Good understanding of the External Manufacturing supply market dynamics in LATAM for Consumer Goods and OTC Products. Business Development experience is desirable
- Knowledge of Contracts Development
- Minimum of 3 years experience on leadership positions
- Fluent English and Portuguese is mandatory, Spanish is a differential.
