The Field Service Engineering Expert T4 is responsible for delivering services to our customers, performing preventive and corrective technical services in line with good maintenance practices. The FSE Expert has an important role in delivering results within business expectations, leading the field team (6-8 people), and leading the installed base assigned to him/her for excellence in performance. The FSE Expert is the strongest link between the real needs of customers and Beckman Coulter organization, acting as a business partner. Leadership is essential in maintaining a high level of satisfaction and meeting customer needs. This position reports to the Field Service Coordinator SP+ and is part of Service Brasil located in São José dos Campos - SP and will be an on-site role, working exclusively within one of the company's most important clients as a Resident Engineer and visiting all customers sites (PE, MG, PR, SP, SC). In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Lead the Resident FSE team, maintain customer facing relationships, and collaborate with peers and the organization to achieve results. Act as a role model in serving customers, manage demands versus priorities, and lead plans that impact service metrics in the pursuit of continuous improvement. Support the service business, execute budget premises, overtime, spare parts consumption, travel and expenses, Beckman Coulter resources, and key metrics performance. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include Degree in Engineering or similar; >5 years of experience in technical services (IVD) or similar industry; experience with leadership. Proven hands-on service experience (pre and post installation), on-field and remote work; process and KPI expertise; ability to lead action plans for deviations. Advanced English; native Brazilian Portuguese. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements Available for travelling >70% of work time; on-site with customers. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
