Team Overview The Risk Policy team is responsable for managing credit risk for the Cash Loan product at 99Pay fintech business. We use state-of-art analytical tools combined with multiple source data to build our risk policy framework. We are looking for an open minded and data driven person who can add up to the team, contributing with ideas, studies and risk monitoring the porftolio. Our main goal is to balance growth, financial return and user experience.
Role Responsibilities Responsible for the development, design, c credit strategies and processes for Brazil Credit Business. Responsible for reviewing high-risk cases, inspecting whether there are operational risks or strategy loopholes in the process, and assisting the strategy team in reinforcing processes and strategies. Responsible for conducting industry research, investigating the strategies and tactics of major competitors in the Brazilian market, collecting core data, and assisting the team in making informed decisions. Responsible for collaborating with other local partnership teams in Brazil to address issues encountered during business operations.
Other tasks assigned by leadership. Role Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related disciplines; At least 3 years of experience in risk control strategy management, with solid expertise in strategy frameworks, and a deep understanding of business models in areas such as n non-collateral loans, credit cards or BNPL; Proficient in data analysis and programming, with practical experience using SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools; Strong communication skills, logical thinking, and teamwork abilities; data-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership; Experience working in international teams is preferred; fluency in English as a working language i s required.
