The RoleThe Role: Sales Executive
The Location: Sao Paulo

Responsibilities And Impact- Be the first impression of Market Intelligence and coordinate with marketing, product, sales and relationship management teams to match our solutions and services to meet client needs.
- Grow with the company by evolving sales, industry knowledge, and product knowledge on market-leading analytical solutions and data services.
- Opportunity to transition into other areas such as relationship management, customer success, product specialist, operations or project management as you grow.
- Demonstrate proficiency of S&P product suite to design solutions that solve customer data-related challenges.
- Develop and execute on territory strategy.
- Manage inbound leads and outbound sales efforts.
- Develop an outreach strategy to drive appointments with Sales Representatives.
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
- Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
- Engage new logo accounts and guide prospects through the buying process.
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Grow product and sales knowledge by collaborating with team members and attending demos.
- Continuous learning to stay on top of tools, techniques, trends, market understanding, customers, and competition.
- Maintain timely data management for new and prospective clients within CRM; ensure accurate communications and attached documents.
- Manage day-to-day time and priorities to deliver results.
- Collaborate with peers on best practices, competitive intel and sales strategy.
The right candidate will work well under pressure, think creatively, initiate informative two-way conversations with prospects, and be highly self-motivated. The candidate should understand how to assess a company's needs and tailor outreach to each prospect.
Basic Qualifications- Bilingual in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field preferred).
- 3-8 years' work experience in a commercial role (financial services industry preferred).
- Proven track record of strong client relationships
- Excellent client service skills
- Goal- and action-oriented, with ability to work toward targets
- Experience handling objections and overcoming gatekeepers with resilience
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication, able to engage senior-level audiences
- MS Office skills; CRM knowledge (e.g., Salesforce.com) advantageous
- Knowledge of the financial industry and/or financial departments a plus
- Collaborative and supportive; you enjoy working with and listening to others
