Automating Global Animal Health   About the Role We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global support team, you will remotely monitor and troubleshoot our automated machinery at hatcheries across different regions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement of our control systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Remotely monitor TARGAN systems via cloud dashboards, PLC access, and on-machine interfaces. Provide real-time technical support to field technicians via collaboration tools. Analyze performance data and participate in regular global team meetings to share insights and best practices. Serve as part of the escalation process when issues impact customer operations, coordinating with internal engineering teams. Support ongoing refinement and optimization of control and electrical systems. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems, Ethernet networks, and industrial fieldbus protocols. Familiarity with industrial control languages (ladder logic, structured text, function block) and HMI systems. Proven ability to troubleshoot PLCs remotely and interpret electrical schematics. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and field teams. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Fluent in English and at least one of: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Thai. 3–5+ years of experience in engineering support or industrial automation; equivalent hands-on experience considered.
