Job Title: IT Operations & Support Specialist Description: The IT Operations & Support Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless daily operation of laptops, printers, networks, and basic system access. As a key member of the IT team, this individual is responsible for providing expert technical support to office staff, addressing various hardware and software issues. Main Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be responsible for: Daily Onsite Technical Support: Provide timely assistance to office staff, resolving issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and network connectivity. System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain Windows systems, office applications, email accounts, and user workstations. Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor basic network connectivity, router/switch status, Wi-Fi stability, and VPN connections. User Setup: Set up computers for new employees, create user accounts, and ensure proper access rights. System Escalation: Assist with SAP, DMS, CRM, WMS system-related problems and escalate when necessary. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of IT equipment, perform device check-ups, and coordinate equipment repair with vendors. Data Security: Assist with data backup routines, file sharing permissions, and standard security practices. Printer Configuration: Manage printer configuration, toner replacement, scanning functions, and related issues. Video Conference Support: Support video conference tools (Teams/Zoom) and office meeting room equipment. Documentation: Document incidents, service requests, and solutions following basic IT support processes. Required Skills and Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
