About This Role A leading education services provider is hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee end-to-end accounting operations across their nationwide network of child care centers. You will lead the transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite. This role combines hands-on accounting with process improvement. You will help the organization scale while expanding its footprint. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite (~70% complete), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency Manage full-cycle accounting operations: general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules Maintain and update loan schedules, insurance allocations, and related entries across operating entities Categorize transactions in Ramp, Brex, and other systems (~1 day/month) Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making Continuously improve accounting processes and leverage NetSuite functionality for efficiency gains Handle other responsibilities typically expected of a Senior Accountant Required Skills CPA or equivalent preferred 5+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards Proficiency in NetSuite Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and transition projects from QBO to NetSuite preferred Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills Ability to operate independently while supporting a multi-entity, growing organization Why Join Us?100% Remote High-impact role supporting a fast-growing education services company Competitive compensation aligned with global opportunities Build your track record within the MAVI network Selection Process Initial Interview (20 min) – Meet with Sebastian (Talent Partner) and complete a short accounting exercise Behavioral Interview (30 min) – Discuss your motivation and fit for working with MAVI clients Successful candidates join the MAVI Talent Network and gain access to this and future opportunities.
