Job description:

This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the smooth and efficient operation of supply chain processes to ensure customer satisfaction and cost-effectiveness. The role requires a highly motivated self-starter who can work virtually and independently under pressure, adapting quickly to changing priorities. As a recognized subject matter expert, this person will coach others using relevant experience to enhance their learning and capabilities.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Provide planning, procurement, logistics, and customs support for all assigned products.
  • Establish strong working relationships with tolling sites to achieve optimal production output, minimize costs, and adhere to production schedules, ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Monitor and track supply outlook, ensuring supply assurance, inventory management, and deployment.
  • Develop and update a 12-month rolling master schedule based on demand forecasts, available capacity, inventory policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with global inventory management policies and processes.
  • Lead and support inventory transition planning for new product transfer projects.
  • Maintain regular contact with logistics centers and global planning teams to resolve demand and supply issues.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvements in supply chain processes and meet performance objectives.
  • Streamline procedures and ensure processes are documented for continuous improvement within the team.
  • Foster an improvement culture by supporting Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Lead and facilitate the implementation of various supply chain projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or MBA degree preferred (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Trade or Management) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a supply chain environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in production plant planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent understanding of production planning and inventory management optimization strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts and planning tools, including Business Intelligence Tools.
  • Strong communication and inventory management skills.
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of MS Access is an asset.
