We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager for the LATAM region. The ideal candidate will be based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will work remotely, reporting to the Regional Sales Director LATAM. This role involves strategic planning, market development, and managing both direct and indirect sales channels. The candidate will lead and motivate the sales team, develop strong customer relationships, and ensure exceptional customer service and support. Frequent travel within the region is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Market Development:

Develop and implement the business plan, and achieve the business targets in line with the company’s strategy

Explore business opportunities through direct customer engagement or managing agents/distribution channels.

Engage and develop strong relationships with customer organizations to understand requirements and promote Richful’s solutions.

Manage sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.

Customer Relationship Management:

Create and deliver value propositions tailored to customer needs.

Educate customers on new opportunities and tailor solutions to their specific requirements.

Guide customers through decision-making and address objections confidently.

Ensure exceptional customer service and support, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

People Management:

Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve their targets and grow professionally.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Indirect Sales and Distribution Management:

Manage relationships with indirect sales channels and distributors.

Ensure distributors are equipped with the necessary resources and training.

Monitor distributor performance and provide feedback.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Sales Manager LATAM, Regional Sales Director LATAM, and headquarters teams (Technology, Marketing, and Supply Chain) to develop and implement tactical plans for our direct sales accounts and distributors to achieve the overall sales plan.

Update sales call reports, sales forecasts, and opportunity pipelines promptly.

Update business plan and present report periodically to business leaders

Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related fields.

At least 7 years of sales management experience in lubricant additives or related lubricant industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong understanding of LATAM market dynamics and customer needs.

Experience with indirect sales and distribution management.

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team

Effective communication skills in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Self-motivated, results-orientated, and strong interpersonal skills.

Good business acumen, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills.

Customer Focus: Ability to understand and meet customer needs.

Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify problems and develop solutions.

Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions.

Based in Rio de Janeiro (remote). Frequent traveling is expected within the region.
