Job Type: Full-Time, 6-nights a week Mon - Sat 23:00 - 6:00 (approximately)

Salary: R$: 2.200 /month, +20% additional for overnight hours, with sales-based commissions

We are currently seeking a dynamic, bilingual Travel Agent to join our team who is passionate about travel, technology-savvy, and excels in sales.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Bilingual Travel Agent, you will be responsible for helping our clients issue flights and book hotels. This is a position that involves strong technical computer skills, using special commands in an out-dated software that somewhat resembles coding language. You will be expected to provide prompt replies to clients in less than 15-minutes, and typically solve their travel request within 60 minutes.

*Important to note - approximately 3 months of training during day-time hours before switching to overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, tours, and car rentals.
  • Use your strong sales skills to upsell services, packages, and travel insurance.
  • Leverage your technical proficiency to navigate booking systems, manage client databases, and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in both languages, ensuring a seamless experience for all clients.
  • Use creative problem-solving skills to handle any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about the latest travel trends, industry regulations, and destination information.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual: Intermediate+ skills in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using travel booking software, CRM systems, and other relevant technology.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to sell travel products and services, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Creative Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a travel agent or in an office setting is preferred.
  • Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
