Accounting Professional The accounting professional plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and contributing to the efficiency of month-end and year-end closing processes. Key Responsibilities: Daily Accounting Operations: Perform daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis. Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting records with Brazilian regulations (ECD, ECF) and IFRS/BR GAAP. Fixed Assets Control: Manage fixed assets control, depreciation calculations, and asset movements in the ERP system (SAP – CO Model). Closing Activities: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and financial reporting. Internal and External Audits: Prepare and assist with internal and external audits. Intercompany Transactions: Reconcile intercompany transactions and support global consolidation processes. Financial Analysis: Provide financial data and analysis to support management decision-making. Tax, Controlling, and Treasury Integration: Liaise with tax, controlling, and treasury teams to ensure integration and accuracy of financial information. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Active registration with the CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade) is preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of BR GAAP and IFRS. Experience with SAP ERP systems. Advanced skills in Excel. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (for reporting and communication with HQ).
