**Formulation Development Expert** Job Description: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing formulation and product development projects in Latin America, with a special emphasis on Brazil. Your primary focus will be on providing technical support for local laboratory work, preparing reports, and applying Vantage raw materials in formulations to support customer projects and promote Vantage products. You will work closely with global R&D and Marketing teams, ideating, identifying, and developing new personal care applications, contributing to the growth of Vantage Personal Care in Latin America and globally. Your role will involve evaluating the performance of developed formulations to demonstrate their benefits, creating market-relevant concepts that promote Vantage technologies through marketing campaigns, customer events, trade shows, and industry activities. Key Responsibilities: Development of new formulations: To highlight ingredients from the Vantage portfolio and their added values in formulation (skin care, hair care, makeup, and toiletries applications) according to internal and external needs. Support in tests: For performance studies and sensorial tests for customer projects. Contribution to new product development projects: To improve the VPC product portfolio, including discovering new products based on market trends and customers' feedback, assessing technical feasibility, developing the new product, designing and conducting needed performance tests to improve the product design, and finalizing product specs. Monitoring stability testing: Of formulations: organoleptic and physicochemical analyses. Qualification of Vantage ingredients: And issuing the report with the results. Efficient operation of the laboratory: Respect for SOPs, raw materials, and packaging inventory management. Required Skills and Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacobiology, Cosmetics Technology, Pharmacy, or related areas linked to sciences (Chemistry). Between 5-8 years' working experience in the cosmetics and chemical industry. Proficiency in Spanish and English, knowledge of development Personal Care products (Formulation & process), being responsible, organized, proactive, problem-solving, easy to work in a team, ability to apply logical and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems, ability to influence and work in cross-functional teams, excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, natural collaborator, contributing to a positive team dynamic, continuous improvement mindset, always seeking opportunities to optimize processes. This is a hybrid model position located in Brasil.
